  • Approximately 42,000 people from Oroville, Thermolito, Palermo, Bangor, Yankee Hill, Cherokee, East Foothill, Kelly Ridge, Biggs and Gridley.

  • Approximately 60% are between 25 and 54 years of age, and 50% are age 35 to 54. 58% have some college or a college degree. 30% of the community radio listeners report that in work related or personal purchases, they have chosen a particular product or service because the supplier supported community radio.

In addition, because KRBS is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization, all contributions are tax deductible.

We have several Underwriting options to choose from

Plan A: Under 6 Months$40.00 per month will have your message announced during the show you've decided to Underwrite and several other times throughout the day on a daily basis.

Plan B: 6 Months or more$35.00 per month will have your message announced during the show you've decided to Underwrite and several times throughout the day on a daily basis.

News/Special$25.00 will have your message broadcast 3 times on specific days and/or times you've pre-arranged with the KRBS radio.

Underwriting Message Criteria

Message cannot exceed thirty (30) words, not counting preamble. Your message must be value neutral (without subjective or promotional wording). Corporate slogans are acceptable as long as they do not promote, show comparison or call to action. Non-profit may state when an event is free to the public, other price information may not be given. Second person references, such as you, your, and you're, are excluded. No specific music or jingles may be used. Message may not contain any superlatives or comparative language. KRBS reserves the right to edit copy, if necessary, so that it complies with FCC regulations.
